Box Office Policies
Seats. Seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis by our Box Office Staff. Simply choose the seating section you want. You will be notified of your seat row and number once your order is complete -- usually within 24 hours or less Monday - Friday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be completed the following business day. Please allow extra time on weekends and holidays.

Payment Methods. Tickets, merchandise and donations to the RSO made through this site may be paid for using VISA, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.

Delivery Options & Conditions. When using this site, you may have the option of mail delivery or ticket-pickup at a venue Will-Call location. (See Will Call location below for more about where to pick up tickets). If you choose mail delivery, your tickets and/or merchandise will be mailed by USPS First Class Mail. Any additional charges for mail delivery, if applicable, will be shown when you select the mail delivery option. The mail delivery option may not be available if your order is placed within 5 days of a ticketed concert or event. In such cases, the mail delivery option will not be shown - you should pick up your tickets at the venue Will Call location within 90 minutes prior to the concert/event, or at the RSO offices by the last business day prior to the day of the concert/event, during business hours. The RSO offices are located at 541 Luck Avenue, Suite 200, Roanoke VA 24016. For more information, including closings and hours of operation, please call the RSO box office at (540) 343-9127.

Refunds & Exchanges. There are no refunds or exchanges for purchases made from this site. However, in the event a concert is cancelled, you will receive a refund for the price of your ticket(s), not including any additional fees or mailing costs when applicable.

Returned Tickets. Tickets that will not be used may be returned to the Roanoke Symphony Box Office in person as a tax deductible contribution equal to the value of the tickets, not including any additional fees. Tickets must be turned-in at least 24 hours prior to the performance.

Lost or Stolen Tickets. You may request that lost or stolen tickets be duplicated by the RSO Box Office, at its descretion. The request to duplicate a lost ticket must be made by the original purchaser.

Will Call location. Our Will-Call Box Office window is open at least 90 minutes prior to each concert.
  • In the Roanoke Performimg Arts Theatre: Will-Call is located just inside the main entrance of the Theatre building, to the left.
  • In Jefferson Center - Shaftman Performance Hall: Will-Call is located at the RSO Box Office -- 2nd floor.
  • In the Salem Civic Center: Will-Call is located just inside the main entrance -- Box Office to the left.

Tax. All ticket prices include all applicable admissions tax.

Fees. While purchasing tickets at this site, you will see service charges listed for the ticket(s) you choose. These modest "fees" help us meet our budget with revenue that is not taxed.

Box Office Hours. The Roanoke Symphony Box Office regular hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Our hours may change due to holidays and other special circumstances -- phone us at (540) 343-9127 for recorded updates.
